Last night I wore my Lucky-Susan-Skirt.
What happened? Rock star parking; sensational dinner with one handsome devil; an unforgettable private concert; a sweet gift; and a business call that made the future look golden.
Last month, I wore my Lucky-J-Boots in New York City. Enough said.
My Lucky-Susan-Skirt and Lucky-J-Boots are like glass slippers. Magical. I’ve never paired the skirt with the boots but I could and, believe me, you’ll want to hear about it when I do. Pumpkins turning to crystal carriages? Nothin’.
Susan and J are my friends. Never-married, super-fun, no children, good careers, and big hearts. Oh, and so pretty to look at! They are sometimes mistaken for glamorous celebrities. And, boys, I’ve got more where they come from. So listen up, nice-single-interesting-responsible-fun-nice men (notice the double dose of nice), I know at least two women who, should you win their hearts, will make your worlds so much bigger and brighter than they already are, you will wonder how to thank me.
Here’s how: I like shoes (size 9). I enjoy good books, good movies, good music. Just kidding. If you gave me all that and more plus a ski trip to Tahoe, it wouldn’t be enough (for you) because my friends are that fantastic. You would be at a loss.
Lucky you.
Lucky me.
Lucky us.
Happy New Year!
